»Dance, freedom, art and fashion design are the words that describe me and the words I live by.«

I love movement, music and freedom. I study fashion and fashion design at the University of Ljubljana. I fell in love with fashion two years ago, when I was in China. On that trip I immediately fell in love with East Asian culture and their way of life.

My hobby is dancing, since dance represents a very broad spectrum of the arts. It allows me freedom, movement and pleasure, and it incorporates fashion. I can say without reservation that my hobby is me, my spirit and my art.

I am still young, but I have a lot of energy and a strong character. I have broadened my horizons through travel, designing clothes, dancing and socialising with the people from my area. I became the person I am today because of those people, and I am grateful to them for that.

When I turned 19, I was looking for something new, so a signed up for an audition for dancers in China. I went to China and encountered a totally new world, a new culture, and that's where I fell in love with fashion. That trip really changed me. I don't know why, but I gained a huge amount of new energy from the energy of the people there and from learning about a new culture and dance.

It's hard to describe what I feel when I dance, but I can show you. Dancing comes from inside of me and from my soul. I could say that I feel like a rose when I dance. When I hear a song in my head, I start growing, blossoming and moving around. Through movement I show the world what is inside of me.

»My final goal is freedom, and that is what drives me to create.«

Balancing the requirements of my schoolwork at the university and my dance lessons is hard, but I wake up happy every day. I get up at 6.00 or 7.00 o'clock, make myself coffee and look forward to the day ahead. I go to school, design clothing and do a lot of drawings. After school I go home, take a quick nap, and then I go for a workout at the gym, which is my second home. I work out until midnight, go to sleep around 2.00 am and then it's time for another day. It might seem like every day is the same, but they're not, every day is different.

My greatest motivation is myself. My thoughts. I know how to motivate myself. I create new projects. I measure my progress. I know how I was and how I am today, and I know that in 5 or 10 years I'll be even better. I ask myself how I can accomplish this, how I can improve. With regard to short-term goals I am very spontaneous. I don't know what I'm going to do tomorrow, but with regard to my long-term goals I have a lot of plans. At the end of September next year I want to visit China again, and I want to go to India and Bali, and finish my travels in New York. I would like to study dance routines, and I would also love to study Indian dance. I like to discover new things. I would like to see Africa and learn about the history of movement.

What makes me happy are little things, the people around me, natural movement and dance.
