"My dream is to become an artist who inspires people through my work."

When I grow up, I want to be an artist, and I am going to hold on to my dreams.

It all started when I was in my second year of secondary school, and after receiving straight 'A's I realised that grades do not matter for art – what matters is skill, creativity and an artist's soul. That's when I started learning on my own, watching videos on YouTube every day. I am going to do everything, and I mean everything, to achieve my vision. I want to live surrounded by art, which is what defines me and makes me happy. It's what I live for. My goal is to enrol at an academy in the Netherlands, where I will have the opportunity to learn about everything that has to do with art.

"The most important thing in life is to be unique, which is something we are all capable of, but not many people realise."

The drawings on jean jackets happened by accident. A friend knew that I was good at drawing, and he asked me to draw something on his jean jacket that would be unique and that only he would have. That was no problem for me. Then I took a photo of it and posted it on Instagram, and I got a lot of positive responses. All of a sudden my inbox was full – everyone wanted a custom jacket, t-shirt or top.

When I told my parents I wanted to be an artist, they made it very clear that I could be anything I wanted in life, except an artist. At first they did not accept my dream of being an artist and being involved with art. But the most important thing for them was for me to be happy. They said, "If art makes you that happy, then we are happy too". In the end the most important thing for them is that I'm doing what I love, that I am happy and enjoying life, so they finally came to accept my life's calling and now they support me one hundred percent.

"After I posted the jean jacket on Instagram I received a huge amount of orders. People could see the value of a unique item."

My greatest desire is to be happy and fulfilled. I want art to be present at every moment of my life and to do the thing that I love most. Therefore I see myself as creative and ambitious, but also lazy, so like every true artist I leave everything to the last moment.

My message for everyone is to do what you love, keep working for your life's goals and don't interfere in the lives of others. You should work on yourself and try to improve your life and learn every day that you have to accept and understand people who are different from you.
