»A bad internet connection will drive me out of my mind in a second.«
When I was young I wanted to be a rock star, but fate intervened and set me on a different path. Primary and secondary school bored me, I wasn't much up for learning. I wasn't exactly a good student, in fact I was lazy. I needed some time to figure out what I liked and what I wanted to do with myself.
My passion for animation started from watching South Park and The Simpsons. I always try to improve my animation, and I want to include interesting topics and take a satirical approach. Of course I am worried about plagiarism, about not being original enough, and about somebody saying that I'm copying somebody. I only gradually realised that artists are influenced by people and their surroundings, and that there's nothing wrong with that and that you just have to add your personal touch. There are a lot of love songs in the world, but each one is interpreted in its own way and each of them stirs different emotions in the listener.
»I take humour very seriously, I sit down and think about it.«
I'm not the biggest joker in my group of friends, in fact I'm kind of shy, so I really have to work hard at my humour. I think for a long time about which words to use so that the joke will be as well-received and funny as possible. I love satire, as you can see from my stories and all the characters I have created, since it is the best vehicle to convey my message.
I have realised that I have to study every day, watch as many films, YouTube videos and cartoons as possible. It's a great way to find inspiration. When you watch a video you have to think about it, watch it from a different point of view and of course add your opinion and point of view.
»The statistics say that I'm famous, but my fans give me the energy to become even better.«
I hate slow internet connections and the anxiety I feel when I'm around people. Unfortunately I'm often irresponsible and forgetful, and I'm not doing anything about it. But I have it together and I'm a good friend. Zvoganj is not for sale. There isn't enough money in the world to make me make a cartoon that I don't want to.
